Hi,

We are running wsus 2.0 on a SBS2000 server and have recently acquire
a Windows 7 machine which I can't get to update correctly. I have trie
the
ClientDiag tool and it found no problems.

Every attempt to check for updates fails with the following:
FATAL: SelfUpdate check failed, err = 0x8007000D.

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

Upgrade to WSUS 3.0 SP2, the first to support W7 (although WSUS 3 would support

WSUS 2.0 does not do Vista or W7 nor is it supported by MS

You only options are to use WSUS 3 or switch to WU/MU and manually update the
systems.
I have tried
the
ClientDiag tool and it found no problems.
FATAL: SelfUpdate check failed, err = 0x8007000D.
Any suggestions ?

WSUS3 can't be installed on windows 2000, so I would need to upgrade
this server to a new version of SBS which I am trying to avoid fo
now.

Our vista machines sync with WSUS 2.0 without any problems, and ther
is a Windows 7 category in the updates list so I was hoping that was
way of convincing it to sync
