KB 976098 keeps failing to install - gets offered up again after the fail.
This workstation is on SBS 2003 R2 standard network with WSUS 3.0 offering
up the updates
The following log files are from the client machine: [...]
0.078: KB976098-v2 Setup encountered an error: Update cannot be installed
as a newer or same timezone update has already been installed on the system
Odd; as far as I can tell, this is the latest timezone update.

Check in Add/Remove Programs to see if this update is installed. If it is, I'd
suggest you try uninstalling it, then letting WSUS install it again and see what
happens. If it isn't, it might be worth uninstalling any of the previous
timezone updates that are present: 928388, 929120, 933360, 942763, 951072,
955839 and 970653 are all superceded by this update, according to the KB article.

Removing all the old updates worked perfectly! Thanks for making it easier
by supplying me with all the KB numbers, I went into each of the KB folders
in the windows folder and used the uninstall program. It all went very
smooth, thank you again!!

KB 976098 keeps failing to install - gets offered up again after the fail.
This workstation is on SBS 2003 R2 standard network with WSUS 3.0
offering up the updates
The following log files are from the client machine: [...]
0.078: KB976098-v2 Setup encountered an error: Update cannot be
installed as a newer or same timezone update has already been installed
on the system
Odd; as far as I can tell, this is the latest timezone update.
Check in Add/Remove Programs to see if this update is installed. If it
is, I'd suggest you try uninstalling it, then letting WSUS install it
again and see what happens. If it isn't, it might be worth uninstalling
any of the previous timezone updates that are present: 928388, 929120,
933360, 942763, 951072, 955839 and 970653 are all superceded by this
update, according to the KB article.
