Get rid of upstream server and keep downstream

I have a WSUS 3 on a 2003 server that has been pulling double dutie with
some other services. I just got in another 2003 box and threw WSUS 3 on
that as well and configured it as a replica server for the older server. I
already configured GPO to have all the clients point to the replica now and
it seems to be working.

How do I now dump the older server and make this new box my sole WSUS server
and not lose all my approvals, groupings, etc?

In WSUS 3.x it's as simple as starting the WSUS configuration assistant
and on the new server, remove the checkbox on the third screen "Replica"
and select Microsoft as the update source on the same screen (my WSUS
consoles are all German, so hopefully I didn't misspell something).

Wait for some time to let things settle (a day or so), and remove WSUS
from the old server.

Yes, I did something very similiar (swap master and replica) not too
long ago.
