I manage several SBS servers, some R2 some not, all with WSUS 3.0.
On all the 4/13 updates have automatically been approved for installation.
This is not the normal action on these servers.
Any idea what happened this month? Did I miss a change somewhere?

The diagnostics will be found in the Change.Log. (%ProgramFiles%\Update
Services\Logfiles)

There were 8 revisions in that collection of updates on Patch Tuesday, so
some of thoses were likely handled by the "Automatically Approve
Revisions.." option.

There was also a problem with the SBS-specific Server Management Console
from the 4/13 updates, related to duplicated metadata for 2 of the updates.
Symptoms include not being able to use the server management console to see
updates waiting for approval, and the failure of the daily status report.
The fix is listed in the SBS newsgroup, involving declining one of the
duplicate updates. The WSUS console works fine, just the SBS-specific server
management is affected.
