I want to install KB943729 with WSUS, I do a search of my updates for
the KB article and cannont find it. I have Feature Packs enabled for
download and it does not show with Any Except Declined or Declined
option set. I looked through all updates with the KB Article column
sorted and it does not show. How to I get this to download?

thanks

While the Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions packages were
originally released in "Feature Packs" (10/23/09), they were subsequently
expired and rereleased in the "Updates" classification a few weeks later
(11/10/2009).

No. There are separate packages for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows
Sever 2003.

Thanks

Well... do you have "Windows XP" enabled as a product category to
synchronize?

Yes I do.
Okay. What are the filter options on your Update View? Have you, perhaps,
previously Declined the XP update for this package.

Depending on how many product categories you have selected, there may be as
many as a half dozen packages available for KB94379 (XP, XP x64, Win2003,
Win2003 x64, Vista, Vista x64).

If I go to all updates and change Approval to Declined and add the kb
Articles column, none show up. If I do a search on KB943729, only the
two for Vista show up.

KB943729
The product is XP and the category Updates. I don't have Vista enabled so cannot
compare but you need both the correct product and category.
